Atom Parents interested in Atom Development.

Hello Atom Parents! (‘07 & ’08 players)
We would like to invite you to register for Atom Development Tryouts which will begin after Labour Day weekend.
Atom Development is basically a Rep program where you play for the Campbell River Tyees in a Vancouver Island League against teams from other associations.
In Atom House you typically practice once per week and play one game on the weekend against another CR house team. In Atom Development you practice twice per week and play one or two games per weekend against teams from other associations. Approximately half of the games will be at home in Campbell River.
Our goal is to have both an Atom A and an Atom B team. This will depend on the number of players registered for Atom Development tryouts. Atom A and Atom B will follow the same program but play in different divisions in Island league and tournaments.
The divisions they play in will be determined during a tiering round (balancing) to determine where teams fit in terms of ability so that they will play against similar teams throughout the season.
During Tryouts players and goalies will be evaluated by independent evaluators assessing various skills such as skating and passing etc. in drills and in scrimmage games.
Players will be selected to an Atom Development team based on their performance in these tryouts.
If this interests you please sign up for Atom Development (REP) Tryouts. When you register online, click the box for rep tryouts. If you’ve already registered and would now like for your player to tryout or if you need any assistance with registration please contact Tamara at
If you have any questions about the program please feel free to contact:
